    I've got the Zoom GX1N, similar quality of effects if a bit more limited, easier to fiddle about with. My brother has a similar pedal to yours but without the expression pedal, good bit of kit although like you say, pain in the arse to set up though!

    And I'm gonna swap it for the next model (G2.1Nu, with a better screen, loop function, full expression pedal... even more versatility) for 0 costs this weekend! haha great transaction overall

  5. Awesome! It does sound really warm even with the camera mic (which I'm sure doesn't do it any justice!) On a different note, a newer delay pedal I've heard is nothing short of amazing (for different reasons) is the Strymon Timeline delay. Super expensive, but apparently it just sings. You should check it out!

    Man I'm having a really bad case of G.A.S right now.. (for those of you who don't know what that is, and I'm sure most of you do, it's gear acquisition syndrome) Part of me really wants to get a pedalboard and have a simple setup, but that doesn't come cheap, and the other part of me wants to sell some electric stuff and buy a really nice acoustic! Two opposite ends of the spectrum!

    And BOTH right after I decided that I'd start saving money!

  7. I'm thinking that maybe the Vox AC15C1 will be my new amp... some ideas about using both the normal and top boost channel at the same time are already forming in my head.

    Not a bad choice at all. But absolutely out of my budget range. And I thought out of yours as well (4.000 SEK isn't what I'd call a bargain).
  9. Yeah, it's expensive. But I can afford it and I'm thinking maybe this is the time to use some of my savings and not have as much money in the bank as I'm used to. I've said I want to have a decent amount of money for when something special pops up. Maybe this is that time.

    Valve amps sound better with age (as long as they've been well taken care of). Look for one used, maybe you can get it for 250-300€ in a good condition. I've seen AC30s go off for 450€ used (it's ~800 new).
  11. I'm gonna look a bit, but the two channel thing on the C1 (which came out in 2010 I believe) is quite tempting to me.

    I'm not sure what you mean by using the clean and boost at the same time, but Vox top boost channels uses to get A LOT of noise into your tone.
