  8. So I wonder WHICH song or songs that The Edge used this 'auctioned' Les Paul standard in JEFF APPROVED blue?

  9. Not that I was the winning bidder on this guitar... I WISH!
  10. First off, the DD-20 is a great delay. I have it, and it is great for playing U2 tunes. It's awesome. Easy to use, easy to understand, and it sounds great. It has about 10 or 11 different delay settings you can use, including Analogue and Modulating, which are both Edge delays.

As for the les paul. I had a theory that this was the guitar he used on songs like Until The End of the World, or Zoo Station. Up until HTDAAB. That picture is recent, so I would assume some songs on the last album, maybe even their new one. But then I thought, if he has used it in the studio, and he wants to get the sound at concerts as close to the album as possible, why wouldn't he bring it on tour? So I'm not too sure what this les paul was used for. Maybe he did use it on a lot of tracks, but it was too valuable to bring on tour, like the 50's/60's natural strat he used on Stuck In A Moment. He vowed never to take that on tour with him, and he's had it for a while, you can see it behind him in Rattle and Hum during Van Diemen's Land. But he said he HAD to bring it on the elevation tour, because it was needed to retain the Stuck in a moment sound live. Anyway, I'm rambling. That's my two cents.

Lol, what a phrase. We should all start asking you questions that would require "Jeff Approval" or something

Far more interesting I thought was that you can see a Marshall head in the background...I've never known U2 to go for Marshalls before. Edge has always been a mostly Vox man, though we've seen him use other amps before and he began using Fender amps much more for Atomic Bomb/Vertigo Tour. Your thoughts on this?

IDK who said this way before, but it is odd how he doesn't use blue guitars much. I can only think of the Telecaster he used for Atomic Bomb promo shows and some Vertigo shows, and Bono's ES175 he used in the video for Ground Beneath Her Feet.
