    Oddly enough... and whilst it's m'member name here and my email... I DONT have a black Strat!

    I have a pewter Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster.

    Although, I do seriously want a 1970's reissue Strat in Edge used/Edge approved black. They don't make them in ALL black at this time and haven't for ages but one can change out the pickguard / pickup caps / knobs and et voila... your own An Strat Dubh.

    The Guitar Player magazine cover that I posted, of Edge with the Explorer, is from the January 2001 issue of Guitar Player. SO that there would be the feature article that came out between the release of All That You Can't Leave Behind and the start of the Elevation tour.

    ...which is why, if you read the article, the information that have on what effect Edge would be using on the tour and the pics of his rack, were of Popmart and not the Elevation tour. (The article mentioning and the picture showing the Love Tone Big Cheese distortion on his rack... and that was ONLY used during the POP sessions and on the POPMART tour - thus far)
