Whammy / tremolo, same thing. "Whammy" I guess is the "cool" word for it, but tremolo is what I find when I google "whammy bar"

. And It says both Squer and Fender on the head, but "squier" is in bigger letters, so I think its squier.

Heh, remember, I don't do technicalities. I just remember someone calling it a whammy bar when I was around, and I associate tremolo with something else that I can't remember so no worries!

And yeah, Squier are a licensed reproducer of Fender guitars along the lines of the relationship between Epiphone and Gibson. They do mass-produced versions, where Fender and Gibson handmake their guitars, hence the big price differential

. Its in such good condition, you would think that it's brand new

Nice toys! I like the Gibson Goldtop. Your Yamaha acoustic looks similar to the one that Bono had painted up. Famous in that poster of him in a robe playing it...

The guitar was also in some Rattle And Hum era stills. The pics having been taken on a day off in San Francisco around the time of the 3rd leg of The Joshua Tree tour.

Not necessarily "licenced". Squier was Fender's name for guitars coming out of their Japan factory in the 1980's. Back then, Squier wasn't a 'bad word'. Unfortunately, many (not all) of the Squier's surfacing today are not so good; fret issues, electronics issues, weak pickups, tuning issues... the list goes on.

Edge used a Squier and had it fit with the pickups that worked with Michael Brooks "Infinite Guitar" system.

Thanks! Yeah, I really like the noise suppressor. I can really tell the difference when I use it plus I got one of those multi-plug thingys so I can use it to power all my other Boss pedals.

Via switches underneath the Pedal Power 2 Plus, these two outputs can be separately configured for regulated (Boss Twin Pedals) or unregulated (Line 6 Modelers) power allowing you to run both units if so desired. These outputs can also power any standard 9V effects as well.

9V (x2) – Standard 9V With Battery Sag Control
These outputs each have an available 100mA of power, but also allow you to SAG the voltage from roughly 4V to 9V. This feature can be enabled via the bottom panel switches. The SAG control is mostly useful for transistor-based fuzz, octavia, and distortion circuits, as most modern opamp designs are minimally affected by variations in supply voltage. We recommend turning SAG off if you’re going to run digital pedals like delay, chorus, and reverb.

18V/24V – Using Custom Cables
All of the outputs on the Pedal Power 2 Plus (and the original Pedal Power) are completely isolated allowing you to create different voltages. You can run effects like the current MXR Flanger by combining two 9V outputs to create a single 18V supply. Important!
Pedal Power 2 Plus is manufactured to operate from a specific supply voltage. There are three different models, which accept 100V, 120V, or 240V mains. All units sold in North America are for 120V only. You cannot operate a 120V Pedal Power using 240V power without the correct step down transformer. Short Circuit Protection
