Perhaps you could hit the high notes in Pride NOW if you tuned down to Db like U2 have been doing for the past few tours.

speaking of Db, is that what Edge tunes his Tele to during SBS, on Slane? well, I'm sure the whole Elevation tour, and other tours, but just to be 100% sure, Slane

Yeah, he tunes that Tele. down 1 and a half steps (3 semitones) so he's playing in Ab minor.

Pride's a great song to play! As is SBS! I'd just rather play them in higher keys lol.

I'm not a fan of Pride....... over played, without change

I know where you're coming from, but you shouldn't not play a song 'cause the band have overplayed it since they released it lol

I agree that they've played it far too many times over the years, but it's still a great song in itself and I personally think it's brilliant to play, such a classic riff.
  9. I know how you feel about Pride, I feel the same way about Still Haven't Found...I think it's an all right song (the version with the gospel choir is spectacular), but I feel like I could pick one of ten songs to replace it in the live set.

I figured out how to play Pride a little while back--on 4th April 2008. Pretty cool time to figure it out it's actually pretty simple to play --> just sort of a jam with B and F#M

Indeed, I figured out Pride a while ago, but still love playing it. Like you say, not particularly complicated, but it's typical Edge at his brilliant best. The best version is still arguably the final album cut, but there are some special live performances - the version from R&H (so I'm guessing it was one of the Denver ones) is simply astonishing.
