Yeah, I know! I was around people with good music taste from a young age, I guess.
  4. #1 BAD this song has always had a very special meaning to me . "If I could throw this lifeless lifeline to the wind, I' d lead your heart astray , just to see you walk, walk away". one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life .in my opinion it means that I would give it all up for you . I dont care what it is ,it is not worth it , you're more important than anything to me. I painted the lyrics on my closet door when I was 16 and evey morning I'd wake up and there it was right in my face. the rest of song is so powerful that it could just lift you up , Isolation ,desolation, revelation ,in temptation ,condemnation. to this day whenever I am in a mood and just not to sure about things BAD pops in my head and all is well.

#2 Out of control / what can I say I was young and this one got me all amped up and ready to conquer.

#3 Stuck in a moment / "I am not afraid of anything in this world"

    OTHER:
#1 REM /You are everything/ "sometimes I feel like I cant even sing, I'm very scared for this world , I'm very scared for me."
#2 Oasis/Dont look back in anger
    #3 Johnny Cash/ Spiritual " jesus I don't wanna die alone"
  5. Kite, 40, Streets

    There's more ofcourse..
  6. U2

Ultraviolet - it has a sort of feel that's both uplifting and depressing at the same time, and I listen to it when I'm down. The same could be said for the whole AB album, I suppose. It's amazing.

If God Will Send His Angels - I first heard it around Christmas time, so it has a sentimental thing going on thats hard to explain.

Elevation - one of the funnest, most upbeat summertime songs I know. It's immense.

Lemon - the piano bit gets me every time.

    non-U2

Bon Jovi - These Days - it's so powerful that you can't understand without listening to it.

RHCP - Soul To Squeeze - as above, really.

GNR - Don't Cry - uplifting as it gets.

there are more, but off the top of my head...
  7. Nice topic!
Steets - Number one for me. Whenever I'm watching a U2 dvd, and the tune is going from one song (all i want is you, bad) into streets, and i hear that organ and then the guitar,I get chills everytime!

Still Haven't Found - The song that got me into U2, and that basically started a social life for me at high school. It's a long story, but yea, this song is really special to me.

Bad - Always listen to this song when I'm feeling down, maybe it's because I'm trying to "let (it) go" of the thing I'm sad about.

Trying To Throw Your Arms - Love this song, this song makes me tired, it's so relaxing, and it has one of the nicest melodies U2's ever written IMO.

Zooropa - Same reason as the other people said

Babyface - This song was mine and my girlfriends song, but she broke up with me a couple months back. It really meant a lot to me back then, it still does, but I can barely listen to it now without becoming sad. So I usually just skip it when im listening to Zooropa. Sorry for the emo-ness guys, haha.
