  1. They have steadily gone downhill album by album.

    I listened to that bootleg of the brixton academy show,trying to give them one last chance,and they are truly shite.

    A shame really cos the first album was a corker and I still play it.

    Thoughts anyone?
  2. I thought the first album was Shite to be honest, and i think X&Y is a ripoff, ROBTTH is in moments boring as sin.

    But for some reason, i like Viva La Vida.

    I used to hate them passionately for claiming to be "In the ring with U2".

    But no, they are corporate one one hand and likable on the other.


    THe y provoke mixed emotions in me.

    I have 3 of their albums and I had the priviledge to see them live in a very "intimate" concert, we weren't more than 2000 fans.... and it was amazing...
    so I disagree with you....
    anyway, I do admit that up to Viva la vida, most of their songs sounded very much alike to me before I stopped and listened carefully...

    Their very first single: Shiver I really liked. Then from Yellow onwards they just gave me the shits. I hate them. A lot.
