1. Although I really like (love) songs like "Don't Look back In Anger," "The Masterplan," and "The Importance of Being Idle," my take on Noel and Liam is that you can't have one without the other.

    Oasis will reunite soon enough.

i really really hope so too... just not the same. Beady Eye's album is shit imo

  3. DIdn't mind the first two singles,"Bring The Light" and "The Roller," but previewed the rest of it on itunes and thought the same as you. A song called "Beatles and Stones" -especially one written by Liam - exudes a certain cheese factor that I just cannot handle.

Long Live Noel, go and write the best songs of your life and piss over your bastard brother's album!!

Noel is decidedly less of an angry man than his younger brother, but he can be an ass too. I remember him saying, of Liam: "he's got a better voice, but I'm a better singer". Certainly it wouldn't have harmed if he had been willing to give Liam the credit he deserves. Noel may be one of the best songwriters of his generation. But Oasis without Liam's voice and persona simply would not have been.

I don't think Oasis will reunite - my guess is that Noel will produce a terrific album, and Beady Eye will keep going their way.
  5. Liam got a more ''Rock'' voice/sound, but I prefer Noels voice really.
  6. Noel can definitely hold a note better than Liam but that only goes so far for me. Also, I like my lead singers "guitarless." It allows them to be more in tune (pun somewhat intended) with the vocals of the song and their audience - even though Liam usually just stands there is that pose of his - mic too high, arms behind his back, etc. Classic stance.

  7. Oasis My Favorit Songs are Little by Little and Champane Supernova
  8. I've been waiting for a Noel solo album for so long. One of my favorite singer/songwriters ever. This news has me pretty pumped
  9. I have an opportunity to see Beady Eye in a few weeks but have no desire to go. I something wrong with me - a supposed Oasis fan?

  12. I'm looking forward to Noel's album about 3,68·10^5 times more than I was for the Beady Crap Eye. Bring it on, I say.

On another unrelated note, I sung my heart out to Lyla last night at the indie rock pub I use to attend. I had never heard Lyla other than in my house or in my mobile phone, it was a nice one
