Noel doesn't need Oasis,he WAS Oasis.....Liam needs Oasis,because Beady Eye are awful,and Noel wrote the classics.Noel never forgave Liam because of his shit attitude,they never made it in America,because of Liams ridiculous antics,example the MTV awards in 96,Liam gives the American audience the finger.....bad move.....Oasis bye bye in the States...and Noel wanted to be big in America,he's on the record with that.

    IMO,there is no comparison with the 2 releases..,Beady Eyes album tanked and died a quick death,never to be heard from again.It wasn't good at all,all the hype was because of Liam...the songs,on their own,are weak.........HFB,on the other hand.....well....to quote Noel..."it's fucking brilliant"....LOL
  4. I own and quite like Noel's album (although haven't listened to nearly as much as I should have. I just have the two singles from the Beady Eye release. I had a listen to it in its entirety at a friend's house when it came out. It is quite crappy, isn't it?
  5. I listened a couple times to Beady Eye,it just isn't good.All the hype was hey,its liams new release,if he wasn't who he is,it would have never made the airwaves...... I haven't listened to it in well over a year,wherein HFB is one of the most played albums in my iTunes library....I love it...it really is a great release...listen to it again Matt...its his best work since Morning Glory.
  6. Oh, I don't deny that Noel's album isn't great. I listened to it a bunch of times - and the singles even more so. I will, however, take your advice and listen to it soon ... I just got to get in on these Soundgarden tickets (I have this irrational idea that if I listen to them more and more I'll have better karma tomorrow - or Wednesday) so I haven't really been listening to much else this weekend.

  9. It's too similar (specially its 2 first minutes) to my adored The Masterplan to be among their best songs, but I reckon it's great.
