1. Yep, nice song if you ask me, but not sure it's a single...

I saw them live in Munich: small venue, but great show. Liam in great form: lots of voice, the crowd went mad for him. I actually liked this concert more than Oasis 2008 in Sheffield, but maybe that's just because I now was in the front row. They're very different bands anyway. Oasis is proper stadium rock, great anthems. BE is more small club/independent, despite what Liam says.
  2. I've listened to Champagne Supernova at least ten times in the last week and it's hit me that, as a song, it's an example of how good Oasis were as a band, and how amazing Noel is as a writer. It even proves people wrong, Liam is a fantastic vocalist and without him, Oasis wouldn't have been what they were. I've probably listened to the song over 100 times in my life, intentionally and unintentionally, and everytime it gives me shivers down my spine.

I just had to get that one out. Definitely one of the best songs of all time.
  3. Definitely

Liam was a fantastic vocalist back in the day. Raw and unrefined? Sure. But he also fit the music like no one could have ever done - much more than Noel for a lot of songs, for sure. Their 2 first albums are just... Mindblowing. Masterpieces.

Admittedly, I have no idea who she is but your post wins.

    Wow!

  5. Me neither. The headline and the thumbnail were enough to catch my eye and click, then I forgot about the Oasis thing. What does it say? Liam insulting Noel? Or Noel pissing Liam for a change?
  6. to blow out Matt's hope

As we're nearing the end of 2013, talk turns to what will next year hold? 2014 will be a very special year for many musical reasons, but over the last couple of months it seems we can't seem to escape the back and forth rumours regarding a potential Oasis reunion.
The band reforming next year, would certainly make a lot of sense considering it marks the 20th anniversary of their first album Definitely Maybe - where it all began in 1994. The album containing singles such as their first single 'Supersonic', 'Live Forever' and 'Cigarettes and Alcohol'.
They've been rumoured to be heading on a UK tour, headlining Glastonbury, and even agreeing to multi-million dollar deals; one thing that can be sure is that Noel Gallagher consistently squashes these. Have a look through our gallery, to see what's been speculated, denied, and quite probably stirred a bit of controversy.
  7. Lol, it's not just Matt who's hoping!
