  2. Love Rescue Me could work well, like it did on the last LoveTown Dublin show (though it wasn't a closer). Of course with a long speech in it..

    40 is a standout classic, of course that one would work well. Bad is also a good candidate of course.

    But what about 'A Sort Of Homecoming'? Or 'Walk On'? Hehe, or a cover of 'Are You Lonesome Tonight? (which was pure class on the ZooTV Rotterdam show)

    Or maybe a new song fits better..

    No doubt in my mind.

    e.g. Bono starts singing "how long to sing this song?", have a verse or two of that, and then he gets stuck into an emotional AIWIY. I thought it was beautiful how they used it at Buenos Aires and Honolulu as show/tour closers respectively.

    They shouldn't end with a cover...would be blasphemy. When they quit, they've probably made music for more than 40 years and they would quit it all with a cover? Naaahhh...
