1. hey guys I missed it be sure to get a good recording someone! lol
  2. thanks!

man, bono, I have to agree Gerard. Why didnt he just let Edge do it. Bono was clearly unrehearsed and thats lame that he didnt give Edge the lead...Oh well...hope desire is better.
  3. My ears bleed.
  4. It's absolutely not good, but when they practise it more I think it could become a nice one for next tour. At least: I guess it's on the shortlist now for next tour, cause just playing it once wouldn't make any sense IMO, they could've chosen another song instead.

I think they played it because Van Diemen's Land en Desire where recorded at the old Point. A sort of homecoming for these songs, actually. No need to play them on next tour. I've had it with Desire after Elevation and Vertigo. And Van Diemen's Land would be nice for a possible acoustic set, hope Edge will sing solo then.

    Okay, didn't know that
In that case it does make any sense

And there's a big chance Desire will be played next tour
And Van Diemen's Land...well...it would be nice indeed
  7. Van Diemens Land
    Point Depot AKA: O2 Arena

There isn't necessarily a big chance they will play either. It'd be a great fun thing but I wouldn't say 'big chance' - Probably closer to 'as much a chance' as anything else in the catalog.
