    I consider them as best rock band, right after U2. They're just amazing...

    I like them a lot. I saw them open for REM at the Hollywood Bowl. Sadly but in LA fashion... the Bowl was empty when they started. All of the LA 'cool kids' tend to show up for the headliner and forget the openers. (Lame!)

    But yeah, The National played great!

    Heared Their last Album was one of the best of 2007 according to Metacritic

  6. I love The National! They're excellent. Boxer is one of my favourite albums. I missed them when they played here last year, which was a shame. But yes, agree about how great they are.
  7. The drummer for The National is genius.

  10. unfortunately, not. I know this band for about 1.5 years now but I haven't seen them billed around here many times. And for some reason, I'm always unable to go when they're in the Netherlands. But I definitely keep an eye out.
  11. one of my favourite bands ever, High Violet is up there with Achtung Baby for me.

    Matt Berninger is nothing short of a lyrical genius. they're great live too, seen them a couple of times now.
  12. They're fantastic live. They played a festival I went to here and just completely went off.
