That's okay, planning to create some pro-shot collection DVD soon. Saitama is a welcome addition.
  3. Gerard, I got a chance to watch this today. It was ok.

For a visual taste of what Saitama was like it did the job but nothing more than that. Just too many incomplete songs. I loved the build-up to City of Blinding Lights with the crowd going nuts and then it just stopped.

Also the sound was a little funny at times I felt. Sort of like it was just noise in parts. Like Larry's drums were very cymbal heavy with no beat...
In saying that there were some high points that I did enjoy. Out of Control for example was great as was The Fly. Window In The Skies surprisingly was probably the pick the bunch though. Really enjoyed it.
A side note: Geisha dancers during Mysterious Ways were bizarre but different and fun.

    Thanks again mate.

yup I never said it was gonna be a pro-shot rival. This compilation should have only been the complete songs. No real need to add in those incomplete clips, they don't add anything. My excitement came from the vantage point. I've never seen another recording filmed so close to the band. It reminded me of those old pit cam Joshua Tree clips knocking about (i'll upload some in the future).

The sound was darn good for a digital camera but not as good as the bootlegs (which are audio specific recordings), no way should a digi cam sound so good.

Digicams are never gonna provide awesomeness. They work in addition to a proper multi-cam by throwing in a few close ups etc but a stand alone digicam recordings never gonna be mind blowing.

Saying all of that I am just chuffed we have 1 hours worth of decent footage from arguably the best gigs from the whole tour.

  9. Hey guys, found the last vertigo performance of the 12-04-2006 show in its entirety and mixed the audio with the excellent audience recording. There is only 1 cam but it is fabulous, real close to bono and edge. Almost at the end of the video I mixed it with another camera thats gets a good close up of bono while he is on the b-stage and then runs back to the main stage.

    Here's the link:
