John Mayer, like Dave Matthews, look like he's got a square poop to get out! Completely constipated look.

That said, fecking great tone and a pretty darn fine guitar player.
  2. Happens all the time. Id flick through the ipod wondering whick u2 gig or album im gonna listen to and often just not listening to anything. No big deal because it always comes back.
  3. right now i'm in one of my phases where U2 is dominant, but I'm getting sick of it. What I do is take a few days off from listening to u2, and listen to:

the who, the rolling stones, and led zeppelin (studio and live for those 3 groups).
another thing is hearing any good album.

    examples:
    Graduation by Kanye West
Pretty Odd by Panic at the Disco
    Accelerate by REM
    Viva la Vida by Coldplay
    Led Zeppelin ll
    The Who By Numbers
Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Yellow Submarine (my mix) by The Beatles

Agreed, I can listen to U2 non-stop but I'm not going to completely overload on them all the time; since I got hold of Viva la Vida, I've been listening to that quite a bit aswell as just browsing through my music library and seeing what's cooking. I'm always up for listening to new music but there's something almost eternal about U2 that I can just fall back to, stick on a bootleg or an album or something and everything's alright again

Only problem is I don't think there's much great music going around right now. I can't get into Coldplay, The Killers' new material sucks monkey balls (after an awesome debut album), The Bloc Party's latest album bites and Mellencamp's got a newie out but he's an old hillbilly. That just leaves hip hop, emo and Maroon 5. What else is there??

EDIT: Arcade Fire is great and the only other thing decent I find is Kings of Leon but I can only take small doses of them.
  6. I have The Verve phase now. Listened to some songs and can't get them out of my head

Oh Blue, show me something new...

yeah that song is about drugs
  7. I was (and still am although the enthusiasm dropped a bit) by Coldplay's new album. Refreshing to me, although the lyrics still suck. I'm not in a U2-break now, and I almost never am. But when I am in a break, I usually listen to RHCP, Dire Straits and Coldplay and after some days or weeks, I usually think: 'There's a much better band on this earth'. So I go back to U2..

Their collection and musical history is just too big to get bored with.
