    I was browsing through the early 80s archives and found this beauty.

    I've had this recording for a while now, but never realised that the encore was never 'out there' before. Even Pimm's book "U2 Live" doesn't mention the encore songs of this show. This could be, because only the songs up until 'Out Of Control' were broadcast originally. This, and the crisp sound, lead me to believe that the master reel is a Pre-FM recording of this show.

    It's a great, lively show, with Bono turning 21 the day before (hence the champagne encore break)

    First of all Hodel, thanks for this one - should go down well. Second, what's the average VBR bitrate on this one for those seeing it?

    Hi,

    well, the average bitrate encoding with V0 is ~230 kbit/s.

    Depending on the source material this preset results target bitrates in a range 220 - 260 kbit/s.

  9. Hello, it seems like "Touch" is invalid, is there any other source? Thanx

  10. If you have downloaded all the other songs successfully, and only Touch is faulty, then you have had a problem on the download. A single corrupt file means (probably) that your download didn't finish properly. Try to re-download the bootleg and check if the download reaches the "Completed" status properly (they sometimes go from 90 or 95% to 100% directly, resulting in corrupt files).
