    I play by ear (much like my dad. He was a concert pianist, and has perfect pitch. I can play a note while he closes his eyes, and then he'll play it back perfectly)

    my friend just started playing bass...... He'll pick it up in no time though (i hope)....... and I have another who plays drums, but hes kinda....... punkish, "wicked" shit unfortunately. (First year of HS last year.... took quite a toll on him)

    I play by ear too, when I'm at my friend's house (U2YardMan, aka: Rob, who plays piano).... however, have a hard time going back to the correct key
