the best thing about U2 that they always managed to be there with their unique style , they were playing Dance/Electro music when people was listening to Grunge and Britpop

    they are just amazing

Yes, they are two of the best albums, but they sound much better as full albums. I'm much more likely to listen to SLTS by itself, compared to The Fly, or something like that. U2 are an album band, in my mind, you capture the feel of the song by listening to it with the entire album. Sorry for rambling lol...

    Pah. lol.

It's all personal taste to be honest - early 90s was a great era for music, but I stay away from grunge. I listened to Nirvana et al when I was, hmmm...9-10? But nowadays, I can't stand any of it. I'd rather listen to anything from Achtung Baby, but there is other stuff I'd point to as great early 90s stuff. Anything by the Stones Roses; Can You Dig It? by the Mock Turtles is a classic early 90s Britpop song; the album Amazing Things by Runrig (one of my favourite bands, but I doubt anyone else really knows too much about them apart from the odd person here and there) is on a par with AB for me; Offspring were at their peak during the early-mid 90s, but have gone downhill ever since with the exception of Americana...and Ixnay On The Hombre (but that was late 90s as opposed to early) etc.
