1. Maybe we can do a sort of song survival of the winners? We take all the songs on their Best of's and we eliminate those one by one?

it could be done with queen and bob dylan. the who, like u2, have an extensive discography which can't be represented by a 'best of' comp.

lol...the same counts for Queen and Dylan...

EDIT: Everyone thinks so with his/her favourite band...

And who wrote '11 'o' clock tick tock'?

Don't be so biased. Queen have made 15 studio albums (4 more than The Who btw) and have experimented with a lot of different styles. And I don't know a lot about Dylan, but the man has been around since early '60s and made an album almost every year. So If The Who can't be represented by one song, why can Queen and Dylan?

Exactly. I think we all think that from our favorites, that they can't be represented by a Best Of. But if let not-U2 fans listen to not-famous songs (Electrical Storm, Kite, Miracle Drug, One Tree Hill for instance) they don't like those songs at all. While they do like One, BD, WOWY and ISHWILF. They same counts for non-The Who fans here or non-Queen fans. The hits are more than enough for them.
