  5. Soooo this was about how close I was to Dave Grohl at the Metro in Chicago on Saturday night.

    Some stories that I can't help but brag about...

    -Dave climbed down into the crowd for part of "My Hero", right in front of me, and held out his guitar for us to play. I slid my hands all the way up and down the neck and played the actual strings quite a bit while he was down there.

    -Taylor threw his sticks at the end of the show and the girl I took as my +1 caught one of them!

    -Myself and the same girl from above (Mary) were pretty much going back and forth (no pun intended) with Pat Smear for most of the last quarter of the show. I was looking at him and pointing to him while singing the songs, and he eventually saw and looked back, pointing, waving, smiling, winking at Mary and laughing...it was amazing. This was several times through the night, not just once. We were in the second row so we were right at their feet. He also wasn't wearing shoes, so at one point I took off a shoe and waved it at him and he laughed and started kicking his feet up and mouthed "I don't have any!!"....it was a pretty amazing night.
