    Ah I see where you're getting at. I can't honestly say I remember you stating anything personally against those of Irish or American heritage (or of any other for that matter), but I still don't think that it was a good idea lol. But that's my take on it, I wasn't involved in the conversation, this is merely me looking from the outside in. Fascinating reading, if slightly uncomfortable at times...I don't approve of China's invasion of Tibet, but I'm not going to say that the British are a prime example to follow, since the old Empire once covered a third of the globe. I also don't know why such occupations take place, and hence cannot really make an evaluative assessment. I don't think it's right, but it's the government who make such a decision - I disagree that China shouldn't be allowed to hold the Olympics, however.
