I gotta head off, good night all!

    bye

I'm off for a while too
  2. Here I am again
  3. As am I, if anyone's home.

  4. Yeah, they're quite good - and awesome live, too. Other bands I like: U2 (obviously), Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson / Jackson5, Aerosmith, AC/DC, INXS, Bruce Springsteen / E-Street Band, James Brown and Famous Flames, Rolling Stones, KISS...all those great, great old bands.

What albums you looking forward to this year?

well, a friend of mine told me the new Verve's album isn't very good, so I'm noy gonna buy it, but I still look forward to the new Oasis and Travis stuff......and the new U2 album.......it isn't sure it will be called NLOTH and when it will be released, or yes?

Are Travis still around? They're not bad at all, but Oasis...no thanks. Can't stand the Beatles, either.

Elvis does some good stuff - Suspicious Minds is an all-time favourite - right up there. As well as Roy Orbison - beautiful, beautiful voice and Righteous Brother's Unchained Melody. The best version, period.

A lot of record shops here, I've asked about a new U2 album, No Line On The Horizon...and they know nothing about it - give me blank stares! They just tell me about the remastered albums, Under A Blood Red Sky and an upcoming release of The Unforgettable Fire next year (obviously). All well and good, but I want to know about the totally new album. However, I have a feeling we'll be seeing the first real news around September 21st. I say then, because that's the first official news I heard about HTDAAB...I have the page saved somewhere too. The only inaccurate thing was Full Metal Jacket and Native Son, but the release date was totally accurate as was the other track list.

I think yes, Mark told me they're releasing the new album in September

  8. Beauty - if it's any good, I might grab it. I skipped Coldplay's new one, though. The songs were too predictable and slow.

I'm still rapt with the remaster job on October. It sounds hundreds of times better - less distortion and less hiss, and made a great album even better.

we also have forum, there's also a topic for foreign guests if you'd like to visit us

  10. It looks quite nice. Coldplay were top stuff with Fix You, Speed of Sound, Parachutes, Yellow...that's the last best stuff they bought out.

Actually, I had a listen of Violet Hill. Not a bad song at all - the rest of the album was a little boring.
