The camera moves way, way too fast, we only get 10 songs (were they even in order), the audio is terribly recorded (it warbles and moves from left to right like nobody's business and the DTS mix blows, and not in a good way), it's completely cut and paste and some shots are terribly poor in the way they are shot and awfully cheesy. When I want to watch a concert, I don't want to watch something that passes for hacked-up nonsense - I wanna watch a rock show, with rock songs.
I'd hate to see the entire editing job over the whole recording. We've seen the results from Chicago and Boston - it could be worse, and wouldn't surprise me if it was. And fancy ending a show on With or Without You - don't U2 shows end with 40 anymore, or Hamish considers it uncool, because you've gotta flog a video which everybody knows the songs, not put in something unique or even half-worth watching.
To be dead honest with you, it was a pretty crap performance, as were the other nine songs there too. I think it was a quick way to make a dollar from a (nearly-finished) tour and including another bloody compilation with Streets, Desire, One and Pride, to get us to shell out $30 for two new songs - one of which was pretty shit (not bad on tour, though). And then you go straight out and re-release four albums, giving us those songs yet-a-fucking-gain - and charge a horse's nose and camel hump for them.
Absolutely not impressed with the filming at all (nor the song choice) and Hamish deserves to be hung from a tree and have his balls whacked for ruining a potentially good show, not his ''efforts''. Awesome audience, crap filming. U2:3D made a few mistakes, but this took it to the extreme. Why film when the band just aren't up to it?
If this is the future of U2 concert DVDs, I'm worried. Dead worried. Forget suing your stylist from the 1980s, sue your crap director.

Bono turns to the band with the mic in his hand, and a second later it's back in it's cradle and Bono is turned back to to the crowd.
