1. We might Mostly we use less recent shows, because the 360 shows are already in the spotlight. But suggest as you wish

Not saying we will copy every request here, but we will keep it in mind

That's true, I suppose it's more about finding the hidden gems. I'm a heavy listener- downloading/listening through a show is how I unwind at the end of a day, and I have my own little queue...I don't know if you on the crew can see my review rate, but I've been trying to review every show I listen to for the past month or two, and its been going great and is so much fun. With that being said, here are a few shows to consider that I've downloaded at COMPLETE random and ended up being really happy with, which I suppose makes them "hidden gems" of a sort.

    2001-05-16: Chicago, IL
    2005-11-05: Las Vegas, NV
2005-06-18: London (fairly popular show though)
1992-09-16: Tinley Park, IL (downloaded only because it was on my birthday, and ended up being blown away)
    2005-10-04: Boston, MA
    1997-08-28 Leeds

Those are just random rememberances. Lot of Vertigo Tour stuff on there; haven't had one of those since Glendale AZ which was a while ago. Also, I can't recall a ZooTV boot in a LONG time.
  3. I have seen you're name on the frontpage a lot. But dont know how many shows you did review exactly Although i can probably find out

To be honest, we dont really decide the BOTM till the last 1-2 weeks of a month. But Tinley Park is amazing, so are the others.

Just listened the Vegas show yesterday Too bad it is an IEM, but it is a good show

True that. And when I look at my review page, it doesn't seem like there's as many up there as I have actually reviewed, but then I scan down the list and see its right. Haha don't know why it always looks shorter to me- probably because each show takes upwards of 2 hours to listen to, I feel like there are more than there actually are.

I keep a little ticker on my Facebook, in my "Activities" section, since listening is a big activity of mine, and it reads something like this (this is actually what it says right now)

    U2 Bootlegs: 62 and counting

    LAST SHOW: 7/15/1987: Madrid, Spain
    CURRENT SHOW: 5/9/1997: Tempe, AZ

So yeah, I'll throw ideas out there if you guys NEED them, but really, I'll listen to any show that you put on that front page. Doesn't matter if you don't decide til late in a month- it always ends up being a great show, because U2 shows tend to be great shows as it is.
  5. That is impressive. Dont know if i actually listened to so many different shows. I have a lot of shows, but there are many i havent listened yet

We are always open for great bootlegs, so keep them coming Lots of people who want to hear something new, that includes, at least myself of, the crew

    Gotta go now
  6. 1987 Madrid? Hell yeah

  7. Ha, I knew you'd love that. Funny thing, too, I just reviewed it, and checked, and we both put exactly the same star ratings for each caption. Crazy

It was a FANTASTIC show, though...sometimes I worry that people won't take my reviews seriously because I've been rating so high lately, mostly 4s and 4.5s....but the Madrid show HAD to be a 5 for me. I just absolutely loved it.

    Great minds think alike

Yes, I'm of course a f****ng lot biased with that show (it was the first U2 concert in Spain and moreover, the very first bootleg I ever had!!), but I simply love it.
Glad to know you liked it too

Haha it's okay to be biased; to hear a U2 show that's amazing to begin with, as most are, and then step back and realize that it happened where you LIVE....is simply amazing. Like, you hear all of these shows and you're like, "wow, what a spectacle that must have been for [insert random city here], they got such a special night!" And then you hear a hometown gig, and your jaw just DROPS, like..."Wow...that happened HERE."

There's nothing wrong with bias over here
