1. I love Guiness even more than Snow Patrol so that is sooooo coooooool
  2. Thanks Yeah for the review. Love it that Chasing Cars has kept the reworked arrangement. There is indeed a sessions on May 25th. You could win tickets on Q-music if you picked up the phone with saying 'Yes'.

Anyway, I'm also wondering for the Albert Hall DVD. Looking forward to that gig, even more than the Rose Bowl. The bootleg of that show is one of the best I've heard. What an energy and joy.

Looking forward to next week, Heineken Music Hall.
  3. And Yeah, how were the Foals?
  4. Foals were okay. Nice to listen to but a little monotone after a while, I thought. Have seen worse opening acts, though.

    Thanks

    Snow Patrol 21.05.2010, Berlin:
    open your eyes (opener)
    take back the city
    chocolate
    crack the shutters
    spitting games
    hands open
    the golden floor
    you could be happy
    make this go on forever
if there's a rocket tie me to it
    shut your eyes
    run
    just say yes
set the fire to the third bar
    chasing cars
    encore:
    the lightning strike
    you're all i have

    should be this:

    Open your eyes
    city
    chocolate
    hands open
    spitting games
    shutters
    golden floor
    you could be happy
    rocket
    make this go on forever
    shut your eyes
    run
    set the fire
    yes
    cars

    lightning strike
    you're all i have

  6. Do you have a link to the Albert Hall bootleg, Casper? I've searched for it a while (not very intensely though) and haven't found it. Thanks in advance

You're All I Have and Shut Your Eyes are their more usual closers, aren't they? I really think they should try Run as the show closer, it can be epic.

you can get the links in the official SP-Forum ("Snow Patrol Live" --> "Live Concert, file sharing"-topic, page 41: http://www.snowpatrol.com/forum/ ) :-) it's really a superb sounding recording!
  8. Oh wait, is it the 2009-11-25 show? I already have that one, Gerard uploaded it for us. It's excellent indeed!! (and it was reviewed and discussed here a few weeks ago).

But I thought there was a 2 or 3 nights stay there, am I wrong? I wanted to know if there are bootlegs of the other nights too
  9. oh ok, i misunterstood you ;-) but yes, there's also a good (not as great as the 25th, but very good) recording of the second night in london, 24th november 2009...
  10. Yep, the 24th recording is listenable.
Gimme an hour and I'll upload it.
  11. Thanks both, and since I won't be here until 3 hours or so from now so thanks in advance to Yeah for the upload.

I've read in the SP forums that the previous concerts were a bit more serious and less relaxed, is that true?
  12. By the way, a guy in the forum said that the guitar riff at the start of Just Say Yes (the acoustic version) sounds exactly the same as Nothing by the artist "McCabe".... And indeed, it does. Listen:
