1. Not sure about that being a good thing... But the album is good. I finished my first all-throughout listen an hour ago, I might start with the second one -in a different order, as usual- now. Berlin is brilliant, and so are This Isn't Everything You Are, I'll Never Let Go and Those Distant Bells.

Any album that causes me to dose off is a good one. Sounds the opposite. I'll not have a proper judgement for a while. I like it though.
  3. Does Achtung Baby cause that to you? LOL

I'm doing the second listen now. Too much piano (and too often) but it's a lovely album. I was afraid they'd go more "electronic", more in the lines of Called Out In The Dark... but they're more in the lines of the previous album - and I like that.
  4. Listening to the first song for the first time. I like it.
  5. The end of The Weight of Love sounds like that Beautiful Day remix that was on Artificial Horizon.
  6. Listened to it once. First impression: better than I expected and much better that Mylo Xyloto.
  7. Picked up the album yesterday. And well... Wow.
This might indeed be their best effort to date.
Love the balance of classic Patrol and new stuff. The way they included the "dance" elements works way better than on Coldplay's album.

Highlights so far: I'll never let go, In the end, The Symphony.

The DVD is pretty cool, too. Great location and a nice song selection. Full gig would be miles better, though.
  8. I definitely need to see more than one show.
  9. I'm loving Berlin, The Symphony and I'll Never Let Go a lot, too.

I'll quote myself by the way:

I won't be able to know it until I have the album in physical format.
