    School's okay, I'm in 8th grade, so I've got one year left until high school. It's just weird, because most of my friends aren't in my classes, so I've got to make new friends, which I always have trouble with, because I have a tendency to talk to much and make a weird first impression

    same here (except its my first year of HS). Anyway, I have one class with my friend [won't say name online], and a couple of classes with my friend [again, won't post the name]. So for the most part, its making new ones for me. Which sucks, because I'm in all the Honors classes with all the stiff backs, etc lol

    Ahh, I'm in the "gifted" program, so I can feel you're pain.
    Although, here's an interesting story: Today in English we were talking about bands we like, and, of course, I mentioned U2, and my friend Jillian said "I think my cousin is the drummer for them." and spent the rest of the class trying to determine whether or not she was lying

    Wow, I'd be very surprised if she even knew who Larry was. You should have said "Keith Moon!?" (to fool her) Did anyone else know about U2 in that class? There is someone in my Math class that said she likes U2...... I'll have to get to know her

    Lol, I should have done that! Nah, I just looked at her like this: for about 5 mins. and then said, "You're cousin is Larry Mullen Jr.???????!!" and she said "I think so" and then I said "He's really hot!" Then she stared at me I asked if she'd ever met him, and she said "No, I think he's from another country or something"
    The only person I know who sort of likes U2 is my friend Jake, and he only has ATYCLB, nothing else

    LOL....... Achtung is kinda surprising to me. I think that I needed to understand the 80's before I could enjoy Achtung, or any 90's stuff for that matter... but thats just me. i got my friend Rob into U2..... I told him to listen to JT before AB (I lended him a bunch of things).... but idk. My vote says that that girl has never even heard a U2 song before lol

    I love Achtung, but it did take me awhile to appreciate it. I'm trying to get my friend Hannah into them, but so far the only song I've gotten her to listen to is Beautiful Day. One day in band class, she admitted she loved the song, I was so proud!!
