  8. Today my kids were off the wall!!!! At lunch they were making the usual dirty jokes that just got waaaaaaay out of hand. Kids these days, I tell ya *rocks in rocker, shaking fist*

  10. yeah, that's why I tend to avoid it during the day. At least with my kids I can whap 'em upside the head when they get outta hand... metaphorically speaking of course. It's against the law to hit students anymore. Although I have been known to verbally threaten to hit kids with a 2x4. When kids walk in late to my class someone usually says "Hey Miss, get the 2x4"

    Besides watching the downfall of our youthful nation, how was your day? Did I tell you I LOVE MissC's art?

    I stayed in today for the most part. I went down to swim in the pool, but it was really cloudy, I think they need to clean it. I took it easy as far as working out today because I really pushed myself yesterday. It's weird because I still don't have 100% feeling in my legs. I think they're sore, but I'm not really sure. They feel really heavy and fat.
  12. Mine feel that way after a race. Speaking of... yeah, the race director pretty much told me there's no way I was gonna get in. The limit is due to it being a pool swim and there are only so many lanes / heats. Otherwise they'd be racing alllllllll day. So I'm doing one Nov 1st. The swim's a little shorter and it's in a town an hour away from here but otherwise it's basically the same thing. On the upside, I'm going to watch the race I was supposed to be in and maybe get some pointers on transitions.
