It's just that sometimes i hear fans of other bands, like , uh...Metallica for example, some of them are nice folks, and other will criticize another fan because they like Enter Sandman, because Metallica "sold out" with that song and album. Or some fans of other bands act like if someone only knows a bands hits, then they're not a "true" fan, but every U2 fan I've met/talked to will recommend certain songs/albums to people who have only heard JT and the Best Ofs, and are always pretty nice to each other. It's a similar thing with Bruce Springsteen fans.

    yeah I agree with you and that's one of the reasons why I joined this site...not just for the boolegs etc, but the fans here...they're always helping each other...we're really 'sharing our passion', and that's great

    You know, when I talk with other bands fans they're like: "my band is better than yours blablabla", you can't have a convo with them...I have this same problem with U2 fans here too...they rarely know what's going on with the band, some doesnt know the word 'bootleg'...and the female fans are just interested in Bono or Larry

    Well, as a female fan with a crush on Bono and Larry, I'm a little offended by your statement, even though it can be hard to talk to us when we're drooling over those two

    I'm not too bad thanks, just got confirmation today that I will be getting a student loan for my first year of Uni., which is a relief 'cause I don't have £3000+ to go throwing about on tuition fees lol...and yeah, generally doing alright cheers. What's life throwing up the other side of the pond?

    It seems Ali has retired, you being the deputy will now take his position. Seriously though, I couldn't hold them both back. If you weren't there, I would've been the poor sap in the middle of Sergio and Yuri. Chances are one of them would've missed and punched me lol...
