    Ouch, that's awful!

  7. sad story, but with a beautiful ending.I'm so 'amazed' because Brazil never went to wars, our people never suffered this, so WWII is something we read in books, so when somebody tells his own story I just find it amazing,

  8. the pain might not actually be from the time of war but from the times after it......the land was destroyed and everyone had to work very hard to get something to eat......and that must've been very hard if the family was complete, but my grandpa's dad died when he was not even 15 I think and he had 10 younger brothers and sisters to feed...........those were really hard times
  9. but the main thing is we mustn't forget about it and it mustn't ever happen again
