1. all still alive then?......
  2. Truth be told, any day can be the last day for anyone here. You can wake up one morning, and get a heart attack. You can step out onto the street and some maniac happened to run a red light, and boom, YOUR world just came to an end. I don't think any of us should be dwelling or even thinking about the end of the world or our lives. Just decide what you want to do with the time that's given to you. (I did take that line from Lord of the Rings, but it might be one of the wisest and most noble things I've ever heard). Treat everyday like it's your last. I certainly don't, but I wish I could.

  3. 'Fraid so, bit disappointed really, I was looking forward to tightening up my figure

Haha. Right you are. My bad, didn't mean to sound all depressing. I'm just saying, everyone's arguing about when the world is going to end and how and stuff and I find it a bit funny, but sickening.

Nah, I catch your point though lol, I just worried in case you were about to get to work at your wrists because a couple of fuzznuts in Geneva thought it would be worth spendin 13 years or more trying to create an sub-atomic re-enactment of a motorway pile up lol...

It's true though, people seem to forget that it's a miracle we wake up every morning, and that we're more likely to get knocked down on our way to the local shop than getting sucked into a black hole.

    Someone's all doom & gloom.
I would be seriously pissed off if I waited for four years to listen to the new album, only to have the world blow up first, cause U2 decided to release it next year instead.

Anyway I for one am quite interested in the outcome of this experiment, it will probably be a critical development in modern science, and could prove/disprove long held theories about the nature of the universe.

BTW I also love that quote from the LOTR.
