  4. At a bandshell close to my house, in my community- some friends organized a huuuuge music festival, that ran from 4PM-10PM and housed a BUNCH of local bands. We were lucky enough to get a slot and play for about 100 people, bigger than the small parties and stuff we'd been playing. This is our first summer together, and we're all going back to school- we'll get together again next year though and hopefully start playing some bigger shows

    Wow, Matt, that pictures are awesome!! Lots of (great) guitars over there... I see an Epi Casino, a Telecaster, one or two Strats, maybe a Ibanez... Great great great I also like your guitar strap a lot, that ying-yang symbols are fantastic.
    By the way, one of my birthday presents was a beautiful black-leather Fender strap without any drawings or symbols... It's so simple but yet so wonderful... I love it

    PS. I have that exact same sunglasses (or very very similar, from what I can tell of that pics)... Nice too

    PPS. Beautiful Day and an F chord (or Fm, seeing your index and middle fingers)?? Don't think so!! (unless you play it in some kind of insane key!!)

    I think it's an odd angle depicting me barring an A chord, which makes sense. My index finger lays across the second fret, if you look closely, and I'm pretty sure the others aren't even touching the fretboard, my hand is just crooked in the shot. We don't play any songs with an F chord

    It COULD be an F#m? If you play chords for the "touch me..." bit, that is. When I had a bandy type thing going with a couple of friends, we tried doing Beautiful Day but unfortunately, my mate who was playing rhythm guitar isn't great, and I had to do lead AND sing which I can do, but on BD, to begin with I found it awkward playing Edge's riff AND singing my arse off lol, so I played barre chords until the outro when I started letting rip, making it a sort of solo bit?
