1. In late Spetember I took part in the national session of the Model European Parliament which was held in the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Just a few metres away from the house of the Parliament the Bratislava castle can be found. The thank-God-now-former dare I say nationally socialistic government's Prime Minister and the bunch of criminals around him had a statue of a duke from the 9th century built in front of the castle (done surprisingly as the pre-election campaign was finishing...). The statue has been criticised by many as 1. the lettering on it says that the Duke Svätopluk was "the king of the Old Slovaks", which is total bollocks as he never was a king nor has there ever been such thing as "Old Slovaks" (our nation did not actually start coming to existence until the second half of the second millenium) and 2. it was made by the court sculptor of the Communist Party (I wonder why it still has not been declared illegal), and generally, it is ugly as hell

So as I was around, I could not resist to come and hail my king
  2. hail the king alright, Juraj great pic there
