  11. Time for some photos from my recent trip to the Gold Coast.













    In order:

    - the Giant Drop, at Dreamworld. It takes you up about 100 meters or so, then just drops you down at 120km/h.

    - probably at either Australia Zoo or Sea World. No idea which one, exactly.

    - the giant land tortoises. They are beautiful, from Australia Zoo.

    - an old Ford Model T or similar, me and my younger sister (15) at Dreamworld - I think.

    Those tortoises are huge! I've only seen much smaller ones in the New England zoos. Can't imagine how beautiful the rest of the zoo must've been. Great pics.
