    Tape story:
I have located myself about 40 m from the stage and 20 m off-center on the left side (approx in line with the left stack), with the mic mounted on hat
I had to make a compromise between distance (of course, far from optimal) and crowd "density" (adequate space around me), considering the concert was sold-out, so there was no absolutely quite spot
Even if I have tried to find a quieter place during the first 10-15 mins, it was impossible to find a better place around, so my decision was to enjoy the concert just where I was. Fortunately there were no people talking massively during songs, but a solid, enthusiastic audience
Taking into account the abovementioned difficulties, I have decided to set the recording volume to a lower value than usual (5/30) in order to avoid clippings due to possible heavy screaming and clapping (and the decision was successfull!!!)
The final result is a clear recording with singing/clapping/screaming/chatting imo still acceptable

    What about the show?
It was my first Coldplay concert and I really enjoyed it
The band was in very good form and appeared totally into the show
Personal highlights: Cemeteries Of London, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, Viva La Vida, Lost!, Politik
Personal criticisms: after 4 albums and 10-year career a 2-hour concert could be possible and also the setlist in the Internet-era gives no surprises; maybe too many background tapes?
Despite of my friendly "criticisms" the show is very good (not only musically, but also concerning lights, screens, special effects) and dynamic (different instruments played and in different places... a sort of "open stage")
Funny moments #1: when Chris Martin before The Hardest Part on Stage B (catwalk) talk about playing the song as a fatman, he is putting a balloon flying on stage under his T-shirt
Funny moments #2: when the band appeared on Stage C (balcony) for the acoustic set all people around me turned back... I was the only one in the wrong direction (... the right one for recording) and the guy just near me insisted to show me that Coldplay were on my back and not more on Stage A (the main stage)... what I learned? tapers are static, silent and maybe stupid

    Technical notes:
    - I have compressed people clapping and screaming on both channels (up to -6.0 dB), amplified the whole recording (+6.0 dB on the left channel, +5.0 dB on the right channel) and faded-out the last 15 secs
    - If you burn to audio CD, you will need 2 CDs (CD1: 1-21; CD2: 22-28)
