    Indeed. A lot of people complain about Bono's speeches...Well, a Rock'n'Roll gig isn't a natural place for that, but somebody got to that. and I'm glad and proud that U2 does that!
    I don't mind he spend 10 or 15 minutes talking about Africa, because it's necessary.

    And that's the problem I think. They all look the same to us. That's why Bono shouldn't talk about Africa, but about Ghana, Somalia, Kenya, Tunesia, Gabon, Zimbabwe, etc. They all have different economies and that's why they all should be helped differently.

    And I'm proud with U2 too...at least they DO something about it.

    Yeah, they do, you can't deal with Sudan in the same way you deal with Morroco, and they're all in the same continent...they have very different characteristics, and the world insists to threat them like one.

    edit: that's why we all should talk about Africa...listen about it on a U2 gig is not enough...IMO, we must read, learn about the countries, pay attention to it.

    I think the best solution would be by making it like the European Union; a shared economy. Countries who can make stuff that other countries can't should work along. If every country gives a little bit of coöperation there's still something to make out of it!

    Nice idea...I always think about this, not just for Africa, but for Latin America too. The thing is, economy, at least in Africa, seems to find a barrier: politics.
    I't would be nice. If presidents and dictators didn't get in the way of this.

    edit: The African Union couldn't care less for the current situation.
