  1. Pearl Jam for sure (The Alarms is a close second, followed by Big Country). I think I read somewher Eddie Vedder is a fairely big U2 fan. Pearl Jam has actually covered ASOH, and MLK in concert ( Rarely though. Not among there regular covers like Rockin In The Free World, or Baba O'Reily).

I went the night before you Popmart Wembley on the Friday,22nd.The guy stopped his band in the middle of a song,and said something like..."..look,there's a fight there.Go on hit him back !!" or something so the dickhead encouraged a fight in the crowd.I thought the Longpigs weren't too bad.As soon as they came on stage,I remember the lead singer taking a photo of the crowd !

    I'd seen Longpigs at Uni a few months before and they were top notch. Not so good at Wembley but a little overawed I think. No-one knew them or gave a fuck either, which didn't help. My mate and I (who's been at the Uni gig too) loved it though and were singing along.
