Don't Panic, Warning Sign, The Hardest Part, Talk and In My Place make me very happy lol! And I didn't meant ALL songs lol...just in general...

lol...just less people in the crowd

Play a smaller setlist, smaller crowd, more gigs in total and they make the same ammount of money. Makes the tour immediately way longer and probably way better.

This also means 3 night stands in cities. Smaller sets means shorter shows, so the shows have to cost less. Also variation of sets wouldnt be any good.

well in some it's the melody and in some the lyrics that make them sad actually
  4. but CP aren't playing big stadiums this tour they play all the shows in arenas, nah?

  5. Coldplay are in an Elevation style tour right now! Have they played any outdoor gigs on this tour yet? No.
  6. Steve, how about kiddnapin Mark and brainwashing him? then he would agree that VLV is great

Yep, I certainly think so. CP's music is way more intimate than U2's...
And it's not just the venue, it also has to do with atmosphere, setlists, special effects etc.

special effects? one week ago I watched Coldplay live from Toronto, 2006 and man, I'd never seen better light effects in an arena (the best were ZooTV of course, but those were mainly stadiums)

people buy the tickets and want the show to be as long as possible. don't tell me you would preffer 1 hour long intimate gig to 2,5 hours long show with both great rock moments and emotional moments which usually come at the end of the show
