1. back.....ok my story now:

Here's my post from the day I sang:

It brings back such a great memory too....

    Anyway, here ya go...
    Hi everyone!!!

So I sang my heart out, and here was the result:

Jumpin' Jack Flash / Even Better Than the Real Thing (snippet)
Still Haven't Found (Take 1, stopped bc of being interrupted)
Still Haven't Found / Stand By Me (snippet)
That's What Friends Are For (chorus only)
Beautiful Day / Clothes On the Floor (snippet)
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own / Waiting On a Friend (snippet)
Bad / Ruby Tuesday (snippet) / All I Want Is You (snippet)
Song AB (snippet) / The Fly

    Encore:
    One (chorus only)
    Still Haven't Found
    That's What Friends Are For

The purpose of this was just for two Senior friends who had taught me how to sing. Right before Beautiful Day kids from other classes came. The room was packed by the time I was to sing Bad. I told them the quote "You taught me how to fly, now I'm ready to spread my wings one more time" right before SYCMIOYO.

JJF/EBTTRT worked out great, two songs I love that they werent familiar with. I then started to sing Still Haven't Found, but it was cut short because of one of the girls friends. On the second take I dedicated it to my friend who just loves the song. I got some kids in my class to sing the choruses, and then I went into Stand By Me which I sang with the kid. I then sang Thats What Friends Are For, only the chorus. This was a song me and the two girls practiced for some time, and it was memorable. So now I had a crowd before Beautiful Day. They wanted me to sing Still Havent Found again, but I was saving that for the end. This was another great one. My friends and some other kids joined in on the chorus. I then told the two girls who taught me how to sing "You taught me to fly...one more time". In the end of Sometimes I segued it into Waiting on a Friend (by the Rolling Stones). I still got the Still Havent Found chant from them, but still, I had to save it. I then sang Bad for a friend of mine who's suffering an addiction. I led this into Ruby Tuesday, and I thought I sounded like Bono for a minute. Then something sank into me. Here I am singing to 30+ kids and they're enjoying it. So I then led this into All I Want Is You. Probably one of the most emotional parts too. I broke into tears at the end, because I really understood what the song is about. Its about the people who are there for you every day, who help you along the way. Who are there for you no matter the reason. I didn't pause for some talking here. I started with song AB. For those unfamiliar with "AB", it is a short song I wrote for those two girls. I fixed it so it matched the into to the Fly from the Boston DVD. I then sang Love, Shine like a burning star. The two girls started singing the Thats What Friends chorus, so i snuck in "this is a new song to hear". At the end with the I gotta go bit I walked out of the room, finishing the song at the door. I was called back in for an encore. I started with One, then segued into Still Haven't Found. I got a huge cheer from everyone. I had no idea how much they loved this song. I didnt want this one to end, so I kept singing Still Havent Found at the end. It probably lasted 2 mins at least. I then snippeted Thats What Friends Are For, to end the "concert". I sang the end of it like how Bono ends Ultraviolet live, thats what friends are fooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didnt want this moment to end, and I was late for class. But I didnt care. If anything I wanted to stay there and have the class never end. I will remember this day for the rest of my life. I'm gonna miss them so much. I wrote them a thank you for the senior assembly tomorrow. I'm really gonna miss them so so much. But they have their lives to lead. The memories I made today with them, I will remember forever.

Tell them that if they eat 2 bananas as fast as they can, and then IMMEDIATELY afterward, chug a 20oz of sprite. This does NOT get you high, instead, it makes you throw up, and burns like a MOTHERFUCKER on the way out. I know people will have fun with this. Have fun and rate kindly! ; )

P.S. if anyone knows why this happens, please explain. thanks.
