  9. Way too many to list but I wanted to say I seen Faith no More twice in Brooklyn on 7/2 and 7/5 and they are now my top two shows ever. Crowd surfed for the first time on the second and had the pleasure of singer Mike Patton doing a front flip stage dive right on top of me on the fifth. Amazing amazing shows

  10. Wasn't too sure what to expect from the gig, I'm way more gigs of bands with faster paced music, but Glen and Marketa (and their violinist, Colm) absolutely blew me away. Easily one of my top concerts I've seen in my life. Not only was it a concert, Glen is quite the comedian.

The venue was kind of lame/ cool at the same time- pavilion seating (venue is in a high class suburb, and the tickets are hella expensive and makes for a lame crowd), and lawn seats (relatively cheap)...open for picnicing/ wine drinking etc. But the thing about the lawn is- you can't see anythign! Not even the video screens. All you hear is the music, which is fine, but I'd prefer to see something even if they were as small as an ant.

Anywho, once the concert started, lawn seated people were able to stand behind the pavilion seats. Thats where I stood, until the last few songs (before the encore). Glen called out the "red vested fellas," who were the security guards checking tickets, to let the crowds in the back fill in the aisles. I ran down as close as I could- abotu 15-20 rows back. After they left the stage, a guy from the venue said, "I hate to be the bring the bad news, but all those who have lawn seats must return to the lawn." Me and a few friends knicked a few seats 15 rows back where some people from the lame crowd had left. It was sweet to see about 8 songs up close. THey also played some Frames songs. Great show, I recommend seeing them if anyone has an opportunity to.

  11. I think we talked about them before, but man they are a fun live act to see. I'll be seeing them again at either Lollapallooza in Chicago or their free after show on Aug 7.
