What he was talking about is Marijuana, and it kills brain cells, etc. And regular smoking (I think you know all this stuff, right? lol) can cause lung cancer.

A real friend would definitely do that
And I wouldn't worry too much about lung cancer and death etc. You need to smoke a lot before you get lung cancer
And a 'joint' (cigarette with Marijuana) also has certain healing effects. One joint per week isn't dangerous at all
