1. Hey there everyone. My name is Jessica, I am 19 years old and just recently moved from Ohio to Florida. I am a huge U2 fan and wanted to get to know other U2 fans because I don't know too many my age or even younger/older. I hang around a bunch of metal heads. lol. My favorite U2 songs are Running to Stand Still, (Stay) Faraway So Close, Kite (Actually have a tattoo of a kite in honor of this song) Miracle Drug (also another tattoo in honor of this song) Walk On and Stuck in A Moment (the list goes on but I will stop here. lol)

So yeah, thats me. I love painting, tattooing, drawing, writing, etc. So if you want to talk feel free!
  2. hey, welcome. I'm Jake, from NC, 22.....nice to have you here. I hope to get some U2 tats one day. I also enjoy writing. Does hanging out with metal heads imply you like metal? I like some "metalcore" etc. Hope you enjoy it, I certainly do

  7. Welcome here Jessica! Nice to see a fellow female U2 fan around here!
  8. Hahaha, wow, this is a crazy forum. Naughty people. No, just kidding. Yeah, I looked on the tattoo thread just like, five minutes ago and i'm in love with the tattoos that one person all over their back. That's insane. I'm planning on getting another one that says "Running To Stand Still" and getting the dove under it on my back. But I have to wait until I go up to Ohio for that. I will take pictures when I actually get a camera and when I get the one U2 tattoo on my arm retouched because a lot of the ink came out. Luckily it doesn't too much there. lol

Has any one of you ever posted on Bonoonline.com? I miss that site...

So I'm writing a book and I need some help from U2 fans, where would I go to post a thread like that?

I'm so happy to be around U2 fans! lol. And yeah, the metal heads have turned me onto metal. I've been a fan of Tool since I was like 13 so I'm a metal head at heart. Both of my brothers are metal heads, my boyfriend, his brother. And i like Opeth, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch etc.

    No one's perfect

What's the book actually on? If you wanna look for threads, click on the "search in forums" tab and take it from there
  10. It's actually called "Running To Stand Still" and it takes place in Dublin around the 1980's. The book is surrounded by my interpretation of the song (about the seven towers in Ballymun, the herion problems, etc) and I have been looking through U2 books, internet site and whatever else i can get my hands on about the history of the towers, how people's lives were living in the towers. Everything in the book has to do with U2 pretty much. For example, the main characters name is Grace Hawkmoon and she lives on Cedarwood (the same road Bono grew up on) etc. So i was wondering if anyone had any information on the seven towers.
