Been a U2 fan since Achtung Baby, have seen them on the Zoo TV tour (Cardiff), Popmart (Wembley), was lucky enough to win tickets to the Astoria gig to promote ATYCLB, Elevation tour (Earls Court and 1st Slane) and Vertigo tour (Cardiff).
One last thing, a good friend of mine moved to Australia a few years ago (he's an electrician). Anyway, before the Australian leg of the Vertigo tour he was called to a hotel room to do some work. When he arrived it turned out Adam Clayton was having trouble with his coffee machine (think it had a uk plug on it). My friend is not a big U2 fan but he asked Adam if he would say hello to me over the phone. Adam agreed and at 3 oclock in the morning I got a phonecall that I never answered!! Probably for the best, I would have been a mumbling idiot at that time of the morning. That's my only U2 related story!
