  1. For my media class, I have to write a rather extensive report and review on a particular performance by a band. Naturally, I picked U2 at Slane.

    I am instructed to "include comments by consumers." That would be the U2 faithful--you guys.

    I'd like to hear your brief thoughts on this landmark U2 performace--and if you had links to other reviews, information, etc. on the concert I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks for your help.

  5. Where The Streets Have No Name- highlight of the show. Great continuation of All I Want Is You by Bono. People go nuts when Edge starts to play the riff. It's just........eargasm
    Also a strong version of Sunday Bloody Sunday- the song seems to be the best when played if front of Irish audience.

  6. And how about Beautiful Day (best performance so far imo) UTEOTW (same story), New Years Day (dito) The only weak link is Mysterious Ways played between Streets and Pride. They should have played The Fly.

  8. Staring At The Sun was pretty poor and Bono's voice throughout. Same old DVD brings legendary status syndrome I feel. Solid gig but Streets intro aside . . . . . .


  10. Streets was great until Bono started singing the lyrics. The intro is a standout U2 DVD moment.


  11. To me, it's one of the most epic U2-moments. 2nd best Streets intro for me, 12-26 Lovetown on top.
  12. That's it. Previous All I Want Is You is fantastic also, I like it a lot.
