1. I saw "Frankie" live once. Solo piano though. No fireflies
  2. Jersey girl made a long overdue and very welcome appearance last night in philadelphia
  3. There 2 versions of Last nights sept 2 show floating around already

  4. quite promising double date in Chicago coming .. but i'm "quite" confident in the 3 East Rutherford .. neither Bruce knows what can happen there hehe
first time of 3 consecutive gigs in the same venue this year, right?
  5. Here's some predictions for east rutherford - nebraska, tunnel of love, the price you pay and new york city serenade
  6. CHICAGO TONIGHT!!

    Supposed to rain alllll night...
  7. do you attend both nights?
  8. I was just wondering...why aren't there any calls for Bruce to retire and stop?
Don't get me wrong, I love the guy and his work, I really don't wish for any of the older acts to quit...well except for the stones! But I hear calls for U2 to quit, calls for Roger Waters to stop (even when he was Bruce's age)...but not for Bruce.
Is it because of his style? The quality of his work staying almost the same? Him looking more fit and in shape? what is it?
  9. Probably because he's so loved, and doesn't have that many haters. And because he's so great live and gives everything.
  10. i guess it's enough to attend one show (or listen to a bootleg at least) to understand why
it's not just for his music (they say it's a matter of taste for that hehe) .. in the last decade i like only the last album and some songs here and there .. it's his way to live music and give it and himself to the fans and not. you will never see him go off the stage lets say dry and clean .. giving more than he has each and every night, being always surprising
when dark clouds came over his future (Clarence lost) he rose himself again with a good album, not a mastepiece album followed by a masterpiece of a tour like this current one.
and there can be lots of other words to explain but like i said at the beginning .. just one of his gig works far way better to explain
  11. it's coz he's not dipped that much in quality over the years, he's fairly consistent, ie. wrecking ball was released to rave reviews and he still packs stadiums out with little promotion.

U2, however, as much as we all obviously love them, haven't made a proper masterpiece in at least a decade. plus half the world hates bono anyway.
