1. it was Hyde.

My dad brought up a good point. He's more likely to play Downbound Train than 59 Sound, but Backstreets trumps everything. He's a wise, wise man.
  2. Actually it was both glastonbury and hyde park 2009. Bruce joined gaslight anthem for 59 sound both afternoons and brian turned up for no surrender both nights in bruce's sets.

Backstreets is my favorite Springsteen song. I have been to seven concerts and still have not heard it played. Ugh. One more chance next Tuesday in Rochester but after that I do not have any more Springsteen shows on the agenda.
  4. Well, here's what I got, can't say I am at all disappointed. Damn...

    Shackled and Drawn
    Lonesome Day
    Hungry Heart
We Take Care of Our Own
    Wrecking Ball
    Death to My Hometown
    My City of Ruins
    Spirit in the Night
    Seaside Bar Song (Sign Request)
Give the Girl a Kiss (Tour Premiere)
    Lost in the Flood
    This Depression
    Murder Incorporated
    Johnny 99
    Working on the Highway
    Darlington County
    Waitin' on a Sunny Day
    Backstreets
    Badlands
    Land of Hope and Dreams

    Jungleland
    Born to Run
    Seven Nights to Rock
    Dancing in the Dark
    Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out

3 Epics in there with Lost in the Flood, Backstreets (without my sign even having to be used ) and Jungleland all being played. Give the Girl A Kiss (according to my dad) hasn't been played since maybe 1999. 2 kids sang Waitin' with the most southern accents of all time (Sounded more like waaAAin hahaha) and the show lasted 2 hours 58 minutes. What. A. Night. Seaside Bar Song was a treat as well, one of my favorites from Tracks.
  5. what was shackled like as an opener when you are there - on paper it looks a bit of an odd choice. I think you got the best set list since this part of the tour started up.

wonder if he's aiming for the straight 200 different songs by christmas?
  6. god forbid if you came here and told you are disappointed hehe .. that's a damn good set! ... i prefer the start in Ottawa (listening right now) but yeah the oddness some points to it.

it should be 17 songs to the 200 in 16 concerts(?) .. it can be done
  7. ups i'm not that good in math hehe .. they should be 27 hehe
  8. Shackled was alright as an opener...they had the lights off up until after they sang the chorus. Wasn't the opener I was looking for, but it did ok, it's been stuck in my head all morning. Would of much rather had My Love Will Not Let You Down.

Also, Bruce didn't just crowd surf during Hungry Heart, he crowd surfed from about halfway down the arena back to the stage....there were some points where it looked like they may have almost dropped him too haha
