don't worry about it - if you go on to any bruce forum you will find people passing off stuff they made up as fact - you should have read the different permutations of the darkness box that were being passed around. God help us when it comes to the box set for the river, a few tour dates - some of which will inevitably be quite near the truth as not all promoters staff can keep their mouths shut - hasn't caused anyone any harm.

Just started reading a new Bruce biography by clinton heyling "E street shuffle: the glory days of bruce springsteen and the e street band". It's going to prove hard to put down. Numerous bootleg references littered throughout, clinton clearly has or has had access to some of the rarer out-takes. I've got most of Heyling's rock biographies and the definitive bootleg! the rise and fall of the secret recording industry - which should be compulsory reading for any serious collector of boots - i'd love to sit down in a bar with him for a few hours cos i think we'd have a hell of a lot to talk about.
