1. Any thoughts on songs you wish he'd leave out (even once in a while). I know i've previously said light of day shouldn't have seen the light of day, and i may have also mentioned that she's the one bores me rigid but neither have turned up that much. I know there are plenty of waiting on a sunny day haters but it doesn't bother me - it's a four minute singalong pop song. Here goes: i wish he'd leave the rising at home once in a while. Since the likes of born to run only appeared once or twice on the devils and dust tour it must be the most played song of the last ten years.
  2. as far as you (all) start to know me and my thoughts of what a rock concert should be .. i'd say i'd have liked he left home (once in a while) some of the songs he played each and every night .. even if classics .. it could be ok for We Take Care, Wrecking Ball and Death To My Hometown (new album to promote), My City of Ruins (band intro even though he could use another song for the use) and 10th Avenue (well no need to explain...)
but he could take a rest from Born To Run yes .. Dancing in the Dark and Waitin on a Sunny Day yes hehe .. ok nice pop song (i don't like it) singalong (well he's full of better songs that can be as well) children joke and so on .. but i guess no one would have bang against the wall if he went out the venue without it.
PJ thread goers know well i'm "against" that 3-4 stable songs in the set but at least they don't have their position at 100% (and in the last european tour no song was played each and every night).

if you ask me which song Bruce shouldn't have played at all i say without any doubt Working on a Dream

i missed New York City Serenade by the way

ps: i'm not complaining .. God forbid hehe

  3. Audio of Gothenburg2 is very good, one of the best of The Wrecking Ball Tour.

Show itself ok, voice Bruce at some songs not so good, Lucky day (unfortenatly), the River. The violin of Suze was not quit accurate.

But after all a worthwhile download.
  4. Clover very much with you on new york city serenade, i'd have liked tunnel of love as well. I've lost hope of one step up or walk like a man ever making an e street appearance and the lack of nebraska when he's played almost all the rest of that album is puzzling. I think the born to run/dancing in the dark/tenth avenue trilogy is set in stone for the rest of the tour.
  5. oh Nebraska yes you got me there .. and your point is very solid i'd say .. maybe not in Omaha or it would have been turned into an album show (ala 2009) .. oh well it would not have been bad either hehe
  6. i think he's only going to do tunnel/nebraska complete next time he comes out on his own.

i forgot our old friend the price you pay:

still one of the best openings, there's a quite audible gasp from the audience and steve's face makes me laugh especially at the end.

  7. that (Nebraska show) would be nice in some theater
  8. just named and it appears .. it's enough calling it seems hehe
  9. shall we try the same thing for cleveland, cleveland come on.
I'm going to have to check my list to see what else we're missing apart from a better toronto and a better greensboro (i heard a few seconds of the other one and that was enough to tell me it wasn't worth it).We haven't had a complete isle of wight have we?
  10. there are uncomplete Isle of Wight and Lisbon.. Toronto and Greensboro in the way you've said.
missed ..Cleveland, State College and Mexico City if i've checked well
  11. Also the roskilde recording is said to be not very good and doesn't oslo miss some bits? i'm working from memory so may not be 100% accurate. Though from the post-megaupload removal state we were in just before the tour started how far we've all managed to get is unbelievable. And we certainly didn't expect the legendary status by which any bands future tours must be judged that this tour now finds itself in.
