I can remember the date and time I first saw him on tv, october 18th 1980 the river video was played in the five minutes before bbc 2 showed the police live from germany. It doesn't make me a bigger fan than x,y or z who might only have heard him five minutes ago it just means i'm older and i've got a good memory.
