Ade this is anincredible service! I am in a Bruce Springsteen listening week and the links will help built up a nice bootleg library. I just wonder if you happen to know a site like achtungbootlegs or u2start which has an overview what the quality is like for each bootleg recording, eg. if it's audience, soundboard or IEM.

all the outtakes are more than listenable from a page or two back, the some of the shows from 1999 to present (don't know how many pages it is back now) are marked iem/ald and some of the old ones 75/78 are marked fm.

also as a general rule anything labelled godfather/jems/crystal cat/cc/ev2/mark p(ersic)/fanatic will be worth having

he really is .. are you going to any concerts ..Hannover, Munich, Leipzig, Moencheglaback? all of them? somewhere else? hehe

and you Ade .. Wembley? Conventry? Glasgow?

Padova and San Siro for now .. for eventual others will see in time .. the irish ones are so tempting but hard too for example .. Paris too
but i also want to see if other bands clash with him .. i already have to miss one cause of the Boss

the only one i might (and it's a big might cos it's at least a 400 mile round trip) is wembley.

The last couple of days I went through the same process like 6 years ago when I discovered U2 for me: The live qualities of an artist intrigued me to dig deeper to see what he or she or they is/are really all about (attitude, humour, social conscience...).

What I found out so far makes Mr Springsteen one of the few artists whose whole package appeals to me in a very "personal" way I'd say. I think I love everything about him.

So the last couple of days I downloaded quite a bunch of bootlegs (thanks again Ade!!!!!) and want to experience some more Bruce live fascination.

However, as a day only has got 24 hours (ouch!) I'd like to ask if any of you bootleg-listeners have a kind of playlist with their favourite live versions. I'd be happy happy HAPPY to check it out! You don't necessarily have to upload it, the date and location would be enough information for me to go look for it.

Here's what I came up with so far. Sadly not yet really structured and frankly just starting from scratch so to speak:

Growin' Up (2009 11-22 - Buffalo)
Drive All Night (1980 11-05 - Tempe)
(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher (1977 03-24 - Boston)
We Are Alive (2012 07-09 - Zurich)

In a German forum I found the following suggestion for live songs on a kinda "Bruce-for-Beginners"-CD:
Reason To Believe (Live Version, Magic-Tour)
This Little Light Of Mine (Live in Dublin)
Thunder Road (Live 1975-85)
Streets Of Philadelphia (Oscars 1994 or Live version from the Hungry Heart CDs from 1995)
Long Walk Home (HH Version)

Any help / song suggestions are highly appreciated!

I'd also like to ask for any help in finding this particular bootleg (torrent or download links I found on the web/jungle are not available anymore):

^^ This one has a tremendous live version of Valentine's Day on it; just found that out today morning, thanks to a list posted on the German Rolling Stone website.
